Small class sizes (15 – 19 approx.) allow for high levels of support and teacher interaction. SHC is a state-integrated Catholic school for girls from Year 9 to 13 and we follow the proud tradition
of Catholic values and teachings. The small class sizes and nurturing environment provide all girls with opportunities to obtain the highest personal standards of achievement.
Welcoming you as part of the family is one of our expectations for a suitable homestay. We carefully choose our homestay families and give consideration to student interests and preferences. They will introduce you to the Kiwi lifestyle and be there for you if you need help.
Throughout the year, our international students go on trips around the region to see more of our beautiful country and meet and socialise with other students.
SHC offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities like sports, music, drama and cultural events. Participating in these creates opportunities for you to make friends and have fun.
