Strong Points – Subjects Languages, History/Classics, English, Music. Our Music Department is considered the strongest in Hawke's Bay, with award-winning Choirs and Symphonic Band, together with Chamber Music, Barbershop Chorus, Musical Productions and individual music tuition.
Strong Points – Sports Our School has a proud tradition of excellence in sport. We are Hawke's Bay champions in football, basketball, volleyball, softball and touch rugby, and pride ourselves on our netball and hockey achievements. We also boast the largest area of astro-turf of all Hawke's Bay Schools.
Strong Points – Cultural We regularly perform in local cultural festivals and competitions. Our bi-annual Stage Challenge production won the overall prize for Hawkes Bay schools in 2012 and 2014.
